Abstract
The ratio R = σ in( θ)/ σ cl( θ) of pd inelastic/elastic differential cross sections has been calculated using Glauber theory. After the inclusion of D-state effects following Harrington, and recoil effects following Gurvitz, Alexander and Rinat, Glauber theory is in close accord with final state interaction analysis.
