Abstract

ABSTRACT ALL electrical demands on a rural feeder were recorded for four years, 1980, 1981, 1982 and 1983. Recorders were placed on 18 farmstead meters and 33 irrigation meters in addition to a recorder on the rural feeder. A recorder was used on a nearby residential feeder that served 51 single-family homes. None of the single-family homes had individual recorders. Tables summarizing the peak and coincident demands of the rural feeder, farmstead loads, irrigation loads and residential feeder are presented. Graphs showing the demand relationships on peak days and demand relationships with temperature and rainfall are also presented. Magnitude and time of the monthly peak demand are shown for each of the farmsteads for three summer months in 3 of the 4 years
