Abstract

A study of differences in radiation response of hair roots of mice injected with L-triiodothyronine and 1/sup 131/ is presented. L-Triiodothyronine appears to potentiate the effects of radiation in producing dysplastic hairs in the mouse, whereas I/sup 131/-induced hypothyroidism appears to decrease the effect. (auth)
