AbstractThe major exigent tasks in multiple input multiple output (MIMO) wireless communication systems are optimization of channel estimation. While performing channel estimation, least square (LS) estimation scheme is used for improving the accuracy; whereas, the symbol error rate (SER) is utilized for achieving improvement in the performance of the wireless communication scenarios. Comparison of BER for LMMSE and ZF receiver is made in this paper. Along with this, analysis of mean square error (MSE) for channel estimation is performed for different type of receivers. As per the results obtained, performance of LMMSE receiver is better in terms of both MSE and BER with respect to signal-to-noise ratio (SNR).
