Abstract

Adaptive control systems with an identifier in the feedback loop (ASI) depend for their efficiency largely on the kind of algorithms used in the identifier. The performance of conventional adaptive identification algorithms in a direct digital control loop deteriorates significantly due to linear dependence of the control on the disturbance vector. The new algorithms are compared with the conventional ones and are shown to be more efficient.
