Abstract
Haploid × wild species hybrids (2n=2x=24) provide a means of capturing the germ plasm of the 2x, 2EBN wild Solanum spp. in a form in which it can be maintained and evaluated. 2n pollen-producing and non-2n pollen-producing hybrids were compared from the same population in regard to seven agronomic and breeding characteristics to determine appropriate selection strategies
