Abstract

The 6Li(p, p) 6Li differential cross section is analysed with seven different parametrizations of the collision matrix. A one-pole approximation in the complex ∄-plane is used, together with three different choices of the threshold factors. The result of the introduction of a smooth background term in the approximate collision matrix is analysed. A one-level approximation in the complex k-plane, with and without background term, is also used. The parameters obtained from these various approximations and the quality of the corresponding fits are compared. Finally, the deviation from unitarity of the approximate collision matrix derived from the analysis is discussed.
