Abstract

Kinds of faults that happened at the same time in different areas of the network, called simultaneous faults. Both parallel and open types of faults can be occurring. There are often simultaneous faults of interest in a power system that is combined with all types of faults. Two different types of fault can consist of simultaneous faults at the same location or at different locations. Numerous investigations have studied the power transmission line fault detection and classification. In this paper, we have presents simultaneous faults when it is happening in the power system networks. Two methods have been used to compare the results. The two-port method showed it is more than accuracy from the traditional method. The IEEE 14-bus has been chosen to do this comparator. The values of the voltage buses, angles, and power consumed were present respectively.
