Abstract

The paper presents a comparison between LLC and Phase-Shift converter with synchronous rectification for converters that need low voltage and high current at the output. The analysis is aimed to help engineers to choose properly the high power, high current topology providing a comparison based on design and simulation of both the above-mentioned topologies. The comparison shows that the best suited topology for this type of applications is the phase shift converter with current doubler rectifier and synchronous rectification.
