Abstract

The comparison between effective Hamiltonians, constructed within the framework of symmetry restoring techniques, is discussed for the case of intrinsic ${K}^{\ensuremath{\pi}}$${=1}^{+}$ vibrations in deformed systems. The methods, which are based on self-consistent and global rotational invariance conditions, allow for the separation of rotational and vibrational degrees of freedom.
