Abstract

This paper introduces three kinds of the quality maps, and describes the two algorithms using the quality maps in 2-D phase unwrapping: quality-guided phase unwrapping algorithm and mask cut phase unwrapping algorithm. We apply the two algorithms in the phase unwrapping for the InSAR data in the two different conditions: the steep terrain and the flat terrain. We analyze and compare two aspects of the results: the visual analysis and the quantitative analysis. The experimental results show that the steep terrain's result is most reliable using the phase derivative variance map as the quality map, but the flat terrain's result is most precise using the pseudo-correlation map as the quality map.
