Comparision of four score, GCS and GCS-P in predicting outcome at discharge in patients with acute stroke

Abstract

Stroke is the second most common cause of death and adult disability. The Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) is the most commonly used scale, and full Outline of Unresponsiveness (FOUR) score is new validated coma scale as an alternative to GCS. Our aim is to evaluate FOUR scores, GCS-P and GCS in predicting outcomes in patients with acute stroke.
