Abstract

Many metrics have been proposed in Model-based testing (MBT) for Software Product Lines (SPLs) to measure reusable core asset represented as feature model (FM). This paper describes our experience in using four types of metrics, which are Functional Commonality (FC), Non-Functional Commonality (NFC), Variability Richness (VR) and Modularity (MD) by using two benchmarks which are smart farming and mobile phone. In this paper, the experimental result shows that three metrics which are FC, NFC and VR can maximize coverage reuse of core assets compared to MD.
