Abstract

We compute the quantum entropy for a two-mode system set in squeezed states and for a three-dimensional angular momentum system set either in a coherent or in an intelligent spin state. These quantities are compared with their respective quantum mechanical uncertainties. It is shown that in general q-entropies and uncertainties have a concomitant behavior, i.e. they increase or decrease simultaneously. We find however an anomalous behavior for the angular momentum system set in a proper intelligent state. For the sake of completeness we also compute both quantities for Delbourgo states. They show the same qualitative behavior as the coherent spin states.
