Abstract

In last years, various frameworks for applications development have been released in order to create quick and better solutions. This paper describes and analyzes the performance of two frameworks used for application development, Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) and Universal Windows Platform (UWP), based on the implementation of a RSS Reader application. Results show that an important factor in choosing the framework is the target device on which the application has to run, and also the type of business the application is used for.
