Abstract

In this paper, three control methods experiencing more and more general study and application of switched reluctance motor (SRM) have been compared and analyzed to obtain the best control way of torque ripple. They are current chopper control (CCC), torque sharing function (TSF) and direct instantaneous torque control (DITC). Specially, model of switched reluctance motor has been developed using finite element analysis firstly. Next, fundamental theories of three methods have been introduced. Finally, results and maximum speeds about torque ripple inhibition of three methods have been discussed with the help of related simulation. According to results above, TSF is the best way to be chosen. For further study about torque ripple inhibition of switched reluctance motor, modified work can be done based on TSF to get more ideal results.
