Abstract

The bending fatigue reliability test of marine outboard engine crankshaft is the most important and most intuitive way of evaluating the strength and reliability of crankshaft. This paper, through the analysis of the methods of mechanical vibration and electric resonance, gets the working principles and characteristics of these two kinds of test methods. In addition, it plays a positive role in the theoretical study of the crankshaft reliability test methods and in the improvements of their products’ reliability level.
