Abstract

AbstractUsing radioactive Isotope 35S a comparative study of C‐ and Al2O3‐supported MoS2 catalysts promoted by Nl in hydrodesulfurization of thiophene has been performed. Ni content varied from O up to 3.5%. Promotion effect on thiophene conversion and catalyst sulfide sulfur mobility has been studied. C‐supported catalysts have been found to have higher catalytic activity than analogous alumina‐supported ones. Active site productivity in both C‐ and Al2O3‐supported catalysts is the same but the number of active sites in the former is larger than in the latter.
