Abstract
This paper presents a frame based audio watermarking scheme using spread spectrum technique in Discrete Wavelet Transformation (DWT) domain. Here some of the existing spread spectrum (SS) watermarking schemes are implemented and analyzed. A new technique is presented where embedding is performed using SS technique in DWT domain. A comparative study is performed with the existing techniques by calculating bit error rate and Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) values. Experimental result shows that the watermarking scheme using DWT provides high robustness and high SNR values with respect to the watermarking scheme using Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) and Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) against many signal processing attacks like, MP3 compression, re-quantization and re-sampling attacks.
