Abstract
Objective To compare the difference of psychological health conditions between eldedy and young adult patients with facial soft tissue injury.Methods The SDS,SAS and UCLA loneliness scale were applied to 88 patients with facial soft tissue injury.Results The score of anxiety and depression index in young adult patients were significantly higher than that in elderly adult patients[(50.96±6.21)vs(40.45±5.29),P<0.01;(0.58±0.06)vs(0.44±0.04),P<0.01].However,the loneliness score was notably lower than that in elderly adult patients[(60.62±5.43)vs(38.22±6.64)](P<0.01).Conclusion The facial injury patients of different ages suffered from different psychological symptoms and they should be treated differently.
