Abstract

Cryptography has an important role in the process of data security. One of the benefits of applying cryptography is creating a sense of security in hiding data without having to doubt how much data you have. LUC, El Gamal and RSA have different characters, like formatting key processes, encryption and decryption process. So we need an algorithm performance comparison. Steps taken include determining the public key and private key, encryption process, decryption process, and testing in terms of program implementation time using several different texts. Based on tests of the encryption process, the results show that the fastest algorithm is the RSA algorithm. Other than that, the fastest decryption process is the LUC algorithm.
