Abstract

A comparative study of normal human liver ferritin and livers from normal chicken and chicken with Marek disease was made by Mossbauer spectroscopy. Small differences of quadrupole splitting and isomer shift were found for human liver ferritin and chicken liver. Mossbauer parameters for liver from normal chicken and chicken with Marek disease were the same.
