Abstract

ABSTRACT Semiconductor materials offer many attractive electrical transport properties for a wide and rapidly growing range of advanced engineering and industrial applications. Comparative measurements of two different approaches, namely the Zeeman theory and the self-consistent approximation, have been utilised with our recently developed parameter-free model potential for finding the electrical transport properties, viz electrical resistivity (ρ), thermoelectric power (TEP; Q), and thermal conductivity (σ) of some liquid semiconductors (Si, Ga, Ge, In, Sn, Tl, Bi, and Sb) and figured by utilising the Charged Hard Sphere (CHS) reference system. Since, the interaction and scattering of electrons and ions make a large contribution to the resistivity Hartree, Taylor, and Farid et al. used to see the screening effect. For the comparative analysis, there is an excellent agreement between the experimental results and the present theoretical results, which confirm the applicability and the effectiveness of our new model’s potential.
