Abstract
IN related mouse strains, some behavioural patterns, for example motor activity, aggression, sensitivity to audiogenic seizures and learning, seem to be genetically determined1–4. Bovet and Oliverio5,6 have shown that CBA, C3H and C57, strains score poorly on avoidance learning, in comparison to DBA and SEC strains with scores increasing with the purity of the strain.
