Abstract
In this study, the skull roof, palate, braincase, lower jaw and dentition of the skull of the adult specimens of two species of the ground agamids, Trapelus ruderatus and Trapelus lessonae are compared for the first time. Based on this study, from morphological and functional perspectives, some fine differences among various parts of the skull in these two lizard species are presented.
