Abstract

In this study, the detection performance of constant false alarm rate (CFAR) processors based on reference window cells censoring techniques in nonhomogeneous (interfering targets) environment was investigated. In homogeneous environment, the false alarm and detection probabilities were computed analytically. Their performance analyses were made comparatively with other CFAR processors given in the literature. Also, the performance analyses of these CFAR processors in multiple-target background were done by simulation.
