Abstract

Comparative law, as one of the research methods in the science of state and law, has attracted the attention of jurists both in the Soviet Union and in other socialist countries in recent years. The articles published and discussions conducted have made it possible to formulate certain general theoretical postulates having to do with determination of the place of comparative law in the methodological arsenal of the Marxist science of state and law and, above all, to confirm the unconditional value and many-faceted significance of this method.
