Abstract

Purpose: There is growing international interest in the implementation of structured osteoarthritis management programs (OAMPs) to deliver best evidence osteoarthritis (OA) care. A consortium of researchers, clinicians and consumers concerned with optimising implementation of OAMPs have established the ‘Joint Effort’ Initiative (the Initiative), endorsed by the Osteoarthritis Research Society International (OARSI) in 2018. A priority action of the Initiative is to evaluate the outcomes and implementation of existing OAMPs.
