Abstract

In the last few years comparative constitutional lawyers have widely contributed to the international debate on religion in the public sphere. They have addressed several topics such as: the regulation of religious symbols in the public sphere, international religious freedom, same-sex marriage and reproductive rights. After an introduction to the field, we survey relevant publications on these topics published in English since 2012. We argue that comparative constitutional law and religion has become a particularly lively field of scholarly work and that its relevance in future years will increase
