Introduction

Several efforts have been made in the past to enhance the output of farmer, in terms of making farm inputs accessible and affordable for the farmers. In spite of the numerous efforts made by the Federal Government by providing farm inputs at a subsidized rate in Nigeria, there are still complaints of fertilizer not reaching all the target farmers every year, even though procurement and distribution increases yearly.
