Comparative and Correlation Analysis of the Parameters of Digitalization and Innovation Activity of Business and Transport Organizations

Abstract

AbstractThis article discusses the applied aspects of digitalization and innovation activity of organizations in the Russian Federation by type of economic activity. It is argued that today Russia is focused on the path of innovative development through the active use of digital technologies in various sectors of the economy. Based on the analysis of statistical data, the article identifies the most active sectors of the business sector of the economy in terms of digital transformation: telecommunications, information technology, manufacturing, mining, energy supply, construction, as well as water supply, sanitation and waste disposal. The level of innovative activity of organizations of these types of economic activity is estimated. At the final stage of the study, a comparison of the considered parameters was carried out, and on the basis of the correlation analysis, a close relationship was revealed between the level of digital and innovative development of organizations in the industry cross-section.
