Abstract

AbstractIn last few decades, data security has been a challenging issue to protect the copyright information and integrity of digital products. So digital watermarking is founded as one of the talented methods to defend digitized media. This paper defines functioning of major transform domain methods such as discrete cosine transform (DCT), quaternion Hadamard transform (QHT), discrete wavelet transform (DWT), discrete contourlet transform (DCT), and many more are discussed. Comparison of these techniques based on peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) and normalized correlation (NC) is discussed in this paper. Various types of attacks are also evaluated on these techniques.KeywordsDiscrete wavelet transform (DWT)WatermarkingQuaternion hadamard transform (QHT)Discrete contourlet transform (DCT)Peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR)
