Abstract
AbstractThis chapter applies the satellite system 'Manual on Economic Accounts for Agriculture and Forestry - EAA/EAF 97' of the 'European System of Accounts' (ESA) and the 'Agroforestry Accounts System' (AAS) to a dehesa estate. Both accounting approaches are applied in order to measure total social income generated by the multiple use of this agrosilvopastoral system. Results show significant differences in capital and total social incomes estimated by EAA/EAF and AAS accounting methodologies.
