Abstract

In this paper, the influence of design parameters and geological parameters on the heat extraction capacity of common coaxial type, single U-type, and double U-type borehole heat exchangers(BHEs) in shallow ground source heat pump system is analyzed, and the heat extraction performance of different types of BHEs is further compared. The results show that with the increase in borehole depth and ground temperature gradient, the outlet temperature of the three types increases at the end of the heating season, and the single U-type BHE increases most significantly. The increase in inlet flow rate will decrease the outlet temperature of the three BHEs, and the U-type is the most obvious decrease. The increase in inlet temperature will reduce the temperature difference between inlet and outlet of the three types BHEs. Given the same design parameters, coaxial-type BHE obtains the maximum heat.
