Abstract

In this paper, an experimental analysis of electromagnetic radiation originating from the WLAN(Wireless Local Area Network) access point using different WLAN technologies (802.11a / g / n / ac) was performed. The measurement results, obtained in the lab topology of the WLAN for data download service, show that the electric field strength significantly depends on the deployed technology, as well as on used frequency band. Measured values indicate that the electric field strength is highest in the case of 802.11n technology in the 5GHz frequency at 5GHz, whereby all obtained values are below the prescribed reference levels.
