Comparative analysis has always been a hot topic in Second Language Acquisition (SLA), however most studies focus more on comparing language structures between Chinese and English, with less attention to the Chinese and Japanese. Therefore, the present study will do a comparative analysis between Chinese Bei construction and Japanese passive tense based on the type of patient to firstly find the interaction between structure form and function, then analyze the differences and similarities, finally using examples from the HSK dynamic composition corpus to discuss the underlying reason for causing acquisition errors by Japanese Chinese learners.
