Abstract
This paper introduces a miniaturization technique of a microstrip Wilkinson power divider while enhancing harmonic suppression. This technique based on substituting the quarter wavelength microstrip lines employed in conventional Wilkinson power dividers with Inductive loaded microstrip line which consist of two inductors and a microstrip line. Through ABCD matrix the general design equations for this design are derived in closed form. A reduction in the size together with very good isolation, reflection, and coupling characteristics is achieved. In addition, Monte Carlo simulation verifies that the proposed design is insensitive to fabrication and component tolerances.
