Abstract

A compact wide-band band-pass filter using microstrip parallel-coupled line structure with complementary split ring resonators (CSRRs) is proposed. By using CSRRs, the proposed wide-band band-pass filter has two transmission zeros at each edge of the pass-band. The proposed wide-band band-pass filter has been simulated, fabricated and measured. The centre frequency of the pass-band is 4.97 GHz and 3dB bandwidth is 2.82GHz from 3.56GHz to 6.38GHz. The simulated results are basically consistent with the measured ones.
