Abstract

The implementation of microwave devices using printed ridge gap waveguide (PRGW) technology is required as they are expected to play an essential role in millimeter wave applications. The proposed crossover is composed of four-arm PRGW sections and connected by a central rectangular junction. The size of the introduced crossover is $1.5 \lambda \times 1.5 \lambda $ at 30 GHz. This includes the first two rows of cells around the middle junction. The proposed design is fabricated and measured. The measured results demonstrate that the insertion loss is about 0.5 dB over 13.33% operating bandwidth. The measured and simulated results are in good agreement.
