Abstract

A compact dual-band power divider using a non-uniform transmission line (NTL) is presented. The realisation of this dual-band impedance matching NTL is evolved from a direct synthesis method. Corresponding design equations are proposed to calculate the design parameters and a 0.915 GHz/2.45 GHz power divider is fabricated for proving the validity of this design. The measured data and anticipated results demonstrate good agreement.
