Abstract
Chemical Sensors A compact mid-infrared microspectrometer platform for chemical identification is demonstrated by Jiajun Meng, Kenneth B. Crozier, and colleagues in article number 2100436, by incorporating a plasmonic metasurface with a thermal camera. Machine learning algorithms are implemented to train classifiers based on the readout of the sensor. High accuracy identification of four liquid analytes, concentration quantification of organic solution samples, and the classification of food and drug samples are demonstrated.
