Abstract
This paper presents a wideband filtering power divider with arbitrary phase difference between two output ports. Different from the traditional Wilkinson power dividers, this structure utilizes two π-shaped structures to replace the quarter-wavelength transmission lines. Based on the π-shaped structure, the phase characteristics can be modified without affecting the magnitude of the transmission coefficient. As a result, the phase difference between output ports can be changed to a non-zero value. A planar design is modelled, simulated, fabricated and measured to verify the design concept.
