Abstract
AbstractThis chapter deals with results about commutative linear algebraic groups which are basic for the theory of the later chapters. The important tori are introduced in 3.2, and we prove the classification theorem 3.4.9 of connected one dimensional groups. The notations are as in the previous chapters.
