AbstractCommercial Banking (MIC: SIC: 6021 NAIC: 522110)Community Trust Bancorp is a bank holding company that owns all the capital stock of one commercial bank and one trust company, serving small and mid‐sized communities in eastern, northeast, central, and south central Kentucky and southern West Virginia. Through its subsidiaries, Co. engages in a range of commercial and personal banking and trust activities, which include accepting time and demand deposits; making secured and unsecured loans; providing cash management services; issuing letters of credit; and providing funds transfer services. Lending activities include making commercial, construction, mortgage, and personal loans. At Dec 31 2007, Co. had total assets of $2.90 billion.
