Abstract
When it comes to predicting the future, it’s difficult to get it exactly right. But with a single statement describing how pharmacists will practice, the 2015 Vision for Pharmacy Practice adopted years ago by the Joint Commission of Pharmacy Practitioners hit the nail on the head: “Pharmacists will have the authority and autonomy to manage medication therapy and will be accountable for patients’ therapeutic outcomes.”
