Abstract

Abstract. Approaches to community service activities are varied. Among them, the education sector was frequently attempted before 2015. When the pandemic occurred, the community needed guidance on economics besides health. Therefore, our community service team targeted the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSMEs) sectors. MSMEs is a term in the economic field referring to business economy productive owned by individuals or business entities. Woman Farmer Group Program, commonly abbreviated as KWT, is a farmer institution whose members consist of women who are involved in agriculture and livestock activities. KWT is a community in Kulonprogo that aims to empower local women by equipping them with the skills and resources needed to start a business on their own. The researchers invited the Women Farmer Group to take advantage of the chilli harvest to become a product with a high economy value, i.e. " Bottled Sambel”.
