Community Detection Techniques and Metrics: A State-of-the-Art Survey

Abstract

Because of the coronavirus, which was widespread in 2020, we are all very familiar with the word community. With this word, we also came to know that identifying a community is a crucial task for various real-time scenarios. Community detection has also become a general topic with the growth in graph databases, varying personal information, and dynamic behavior. Community detection is a valuable tool for efficiently managing graph databases. Community detection has become crucial with the increase in online communication, varying personalization drifts, and volatile behaviors of internet users. Here, we discussed various community detection methodologies and algorithms along with the parametric information used to assess community detection algorithms.
