Online communities promote social connection and can be used for formal peer support and crisis intervention, however few programs to support members' mental health have been formally evaluated, said authors of a new study published in Psychiatric Services. Researchers presented findings from a mixed‐methods evaluation of the digital peer support intervention delivered in an online gaming community.
