Abstract
In this chapter I examine the major changes in personal communication in the transnational family because of the new information and communication technologies (ICTs). Building on the flow of remittances among the early and recent migrants, as described in Chaps. 3, 4 and 5, I now focus on the relationship between personal communication and the meanings of money in the transnational family.
