Abstract

This paper focuses on the hardware implementation of communication intelligence (COMINT) signal processor. The Processor is capable of intercepting at most 3 communication signals and extracting their parameters such as center frequency, bandwidth, modulation type and symbol rate. COMINT signal processor can demodulate BPSK and 8PSK signal among the intercepted signals. Computationally intensive algorithms are implemented in DSP processor, where parallelism is achieved by using FPGA. A Graphical user interface (GUI) provides the capability of controlling the functionality of COMINT signal processor and displays and records the data obtained from processor.
